A Barbaric Sunday Salutation Tod here this week. I always help write and edit the blog posts. But this week, I’m the head writer. (And as such he is going to talk about Role Playing Games, and today specifically about Barbaric! 2e. I thought I would let him lead since he is more the nuts-and-bolts […]
Sunday Salutations Statistics This might come as a bit of a surprise to some of you, but Tod and I are both nerds. Not just game nerds, but the geekier type of nerds – math, science, and statistics nerds. At the beginning of this year, when I decided to focus on writing more seriously, AKA […]
Sunday Salutations for Father’s Day! Father’s Day Thank You First, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, substitute-dads, and pseudo-dads out there. And because they are often forgotten all the other good male role models and figures in your life! Thank a Male today. I have had a lot of great male role models in […]
The Search for a Headset Today I am testing a new headset. I’ve already tested three different headsets in the past week. And during my week off I’ll be testing at least one more. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. While Tod is wonderful at finding headsets, we are currently looking for […]
The Dictation Episode I hope everyone’s week went well. This week and likely for the next month or more I will be trying out dictation software. My blog post this Sunday is an edited version of my first attempt at dictation. You should be very grateful that it is edited! Oh, my. You should be […]

Sunday Salutations for Mother’s Day First, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, substitute-moms, and pseudo-moms out there. (Hi Christine and Paula!) This week, we get to be grateful to the Three Moms of the Apocalypse as our second super-short story is in Fanta-Fly Postcards at https://books.akristinacasasent.com/zuj4dc0wfg. The story is 50 words and written to […]
Appreciate That! This week was up and down as most weeks are, I think. I had jury duty sort of… I was excited because I am odd like that, so of course, I didn’t get selected or even to where they ask you questions. I only got to do the show up and sit and […]
Barbaric! This weekend was strange for writing. I did work on the novel, but would not like to report a word count. Mostly because the work involved re-outlining, determining a family genealogy, how their hereditary magic worked, and general dramatics of said dynastic family. Hey, it seemed important! While it did not result immediately in […]
Yay! Tod and I got into another anthology. We just received the notice tonight and sent back the contract. So, our short story “The Peace of Il-Maqluba” will be coming out in the Falcons of Malta Anthology with Raconteur Press in late May. We are very excited. There was much squeeing, which was fun because […]
